FAQs
-
We accept most of insurance.
We accept FSA/HSA.
If you would like us to verify your insurance benefits, please email or text us a photo of the front and back of your insurance card.
-
Yes – you can!
Both HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds can typically be used for services provided at Restoration, such as acupuncture treatments, and other eligible healthcare services.
-
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) are special accounts that let you set aside money before taxes to pay for qualified medical expenses. This can include services like acupuncture and other healthcare costs.
Using these accounts helps you save on taxes while taking care of your health. If you’re not sure whether you have an FSA or HSA, just ask your employer or insurance company.
-
HSA and FSA accounts let you pay for eligible healthcare expenses with pre-tax dollars. This means you don’t pay income tax on the money you use for your treatments — giving you more value for every dollar spent.
HSA (Health Savings Account): You can contribute up to $4,150 per year as an individual, or $8,300 per yearfor a family. If you’re 55 or older, you can add an extra $1,000.
FSA (Flexible Spending Account): You can contribute up to $3,200 per year, plus up to $500 more if your employer offers matching contributions.
By using pre-tax funds, you save on taxes while investing in your health.
-
HSA and FSA dollars are available year-round to cover approved medical costs, including acupuncture treatments.
For FSA (Flexible Spending Account), most plans require you to use the money by December 31st. Some employers may allow a short grace period or a small rollover, but in many cases, unused funds will be forfeited.
For HSA (Health Savings Account), your balance rolls over from year to year, so you don’t lose unused funds.
-
It’s best to follow your practitioner’s treatment plan, but here are some general guidelines:
At the start, receiving treatments more often helps reinforce the benefits of acupuncture and keeps symptoms from coming back or getting worse between visits. For most patients, beginning with at least one session per week is the most effective way to get symptoms under control.
Once improvement is noticeable: the frequency can gradually be reduced.
For long-term wellness, maintenance treatments are often recommended about once per month.
-
Every person responds differently to treatment. Our primary goal is to significantly reduce your pain and improve your daily function and overall quality of life.
In many cases, patients notice meaningful relief after a few sessions. However, for chronic or complex conditions, achieving long-term results often requires a comprehensive approach — combining acupuncture with active patient participation. Those who engage in their healing process by incorporating gentle stretching, maintaining proper posture, and making mindful adjustments to diet and lifestyle often experience greater and longer-lasting improvements.
We’ll work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan and support you every step of the way.
